Mobile coverage for data centres

Resolve faults without leaving the floor. Keep engineers connected to technical support across data halls, plant rooms and secure working areas.

Illustration of data centres

Close the gaps that interrupt your working day

Dense racks, enclosed halls and basement plant rooms obstruct reception. An engineer leaves the work area to reach a supplier, slowing down diagnosis and coordination.

Data halls

Agree coverage boundaries around racks and operational restrictions.

Plant rooms

Reach engineers where cooling and power equipment are maintained.

Secure support areas

Plan access, maintenance and acceptance testing with the site team.

Put mobile coverage where the work happens

Seneca scopes the signal source, antenna placement and cable routes with the data centre’s facilities and technical teams. Change control, equipment separation and security boundaries form part of the installation plan.

The return for your operation

Get specialist support to the engineer on the floor

Shorten the gap between finding a fault and getting specialist help. Reliable mobile access supports maintenance calls, cellular alarm paths and communication across operators during an incident.

Speed up maintenance

Keep engineers in contact with remote support while they inspect and work on equipment.

Support connected monitoring

Provide reception for compatible cellular leak, temperature and access-monitoring devices.

Manage reception remotely

Use remote system monitoring to identify coverage equipment issues and reduce avoidable site visits.

Build the business case

What mobile coverage costs for data centres

Rack density, controlled access, containment routes and electromagnetic compatibility requirements drive the design.

One accountable partner

We design it. We deliver it. We support it.

We assess your estate, recommend the right system and build the business case with you. Start with one site or move straight to a wider rollout.

Design and commissioning

We assess the signal, design the distribution and commission the finished installation. JOTS DAS requirements guide operator-connected systems, with operator coordination managed as part of the project.

Network-safe equipment

We select network-safe equipment and establish the applicable Ofcom requirements and operator arrangements. You receive a system designed for its intended use.

Ongoing local support

We coordinate installation around your operation, then provide ongoing management and local support. One partner takes responsibility from assessment to handover and beyond.

Your data centres coverage questions answered

Will a DAS interfere with data-centre equipment?

We coordinate antenna placement, equipment separation and operating levels with your technical team. Network-safe equipment, controlled installation and commissioning tests form part of the site’s change-control process.

How much does mobile coverage cost for data centres?

For the middle area band above, the indicative ranges are QUATRA 4000e: £31,500–£88,500; QUATRA EVO: £20,500–£54,500; QUATRA 100M: £21,500–£49,500. Ranges include equipment, antennas, cabling, survey, design, installation, commissioning and one-year support. Indicative; confirmed by survey; ex VAT. Travel, accommodation and optional hardware replacement are excluded.

Do users need new phones or SIMs?

Existing compatible phones and SIMs connect through the networks included in your system. We match the equipment and bands to the devices and networks you use.
